Food & Wine Classic
Held from June 16th to 18th, this event will celebrate its’ 35th anniversary this year. It’s one of the most prestigious events in the culinary world with plenty of celebrity chefs on hand for all to enjoy. Over 300 vintners will also be at the event showing off some of the finest wines in the world.
Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration
It doesn’t get much better than the Independence Day celebration found in Aspen. It provides a small town feel with about 20,000 residents and visitors getting involved. The event includes plenty of live music, a kid’s carnival, a parade, picnics and an amazing firework show over Aspen Mountain.
Aspen Arts Festival
The 14th Annual Aspen Arts Festival will be held on July 23rd and 24th. This event will provides plenty of amazing art ranging from life-size sculptures to ceramics and even glass works of art. It will showcase a wide range of art and will provide an opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy plenty of different types of art.
Anderson Ranch Arts Center 36th Annual Art Auction
If you want to enjoy purchasing some of the finest art in the area, the Annual Art Auction & Community Picnic held at Anderson Ranch Art Center will provide just what you need. It’s the largest fundraiser for the community and provides more than 200 works of art. Some are available in a silent auction format, while others will be auctioned off live at the event. The art has been donated by galleries, artists and collectors. The event will also include live music, children’s activities and a picnic lunch.
The event will be held on August 6th from 11am to 3pm.
44th Annual MotherLode Volleyball Classic
If you enjoy volleyball, the MotherLode Volleyball Classic will be held from August 31st to September 5th this year. It will feature plenty of fun for those participating and for spectators.
49th Annual Aspen Ruggerfest
Maybe one of the most interesting sporting events held in Aspen ever year, the Ruggerfest provides spectators with a full-contact rugby tournament. In fact, it’s the only all-age event of this kind. Enjoy four days full of Champion rugby, regardless of the weather. The tournament will run from September 15th to September 18th.
Aspen Filmfest
The six-day filmfest is timed to fit perfectly with the fall colors of the mountains in the area. It’s known as one of the top film festivals in the country with plenty of award-winning picks for the big screen. This year, the Aspen Filmfest will be held from September 21st to September 25th.
