One of Aspen’s most recent real estate sales was a condo at The Aspen Alps located in the Central Core. Aspen Alps is one of Aspen Mountain’s only condominium complexes that offers direct ski access. There are many condominium complexes that offer direct ski access in Snowmass Village, but very few in Aspen.
The unit that sold was located in Building #2 which is between The Little Nell and The Sky Hotel. It was a 3 bedroom, 3 bath with 1196 square feet, and was remodeled in 2015. The condo did not look directly out to the slopes but was only a short walk.
The list price was $1,995,000 and it sold for $1,885,000 after 141 days on the market. The homeowner’s association dues are a little over $2,000 per month as The Aspen Alps offers a full service front desk. Their rental management fees are in addition to the monthly HOA dues but they do an excellent job both renting and managing guests expectations.
The Aspen Alps is one of the very best locations in downtown Aspen. There is only one unit on the market now and it has a contract on it. This unit is listed for $1,799,000 and is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with 1138 square feet. It is offered fully furnished and has an excellent rental history.
